Hello Siemens, We have a IOT 2050 Advanced version F07 and we are unable to run the latest node-red server and node.js v18.9.0. The node-red server crashed with segmentation fault even if we build from source code. The image we installed and flashed from the SD card IOT2050_Example_Image_V1.3.1.zip (820,3 MB)(SHA-256) has node version 12.22.5 and node red version v2.2.2 and this is the only version that works and if we try to upgrade the version and start node-red on latest version we get segmentation faults. There is something custom that needs to be done inside the images so that it can support latest node and node-red versions. We Upgraded the node version to v14.21.3 but the node-red is still running on v12.22.5 Is there a new image that we can use that supports that latest node and node red versions? if yes what is the ETA for new image. Alternatively can Debian 12 be installed on the 2050 gateway to bypass this limitation? Thank you very much in advance. |

Hi, unfortunately updating NodeJS / node-red is not easy and also not recommended on the IOT2050 images. You can build your own image from the master branch here. As far as I know this contains node-red V3.0.2. Best regards! |
Not working for IOT2050 support anymore from March 1st, 2024. |
