Redundant OS

I have found a lot of threads/manuals but none contain the information I need. What I'm looking for is a manual or description with the steps needed to configure the redundant server for PCS7 version 6.1. within the engineeringstation and the OS servers. Kind regards, S.Burnett

There is a very nice configuration example available as FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19353091 This example is for PCS 7 V6.0 SP3a but most steps are still the same in V6.1!!! The only difference is that the "Commisioning wizard" mentioned in the FAQ is not available in PCS 7 V6.1 because it is no longer necessary, you can just leave out this step.

burnett Posts: 64 Rating: (8)	Thank you kindly, Actually the wizzard I used allmost completely formed the redundant project. The only thing I needed to do (and didn't know) was, open the server2(stndby) winCC project and set the paths from server1 named connections to server2 named connections. I hope that I can help some other engineer with this info. Greets Burnett
