timestamp alarms

burnett Posts: 64 Rating: (8)	Hello, We have synchronised the time in all of our systems with a DCF clock. All the systems show the correct time, however, the timestamp on the WinCC alarms shows a +2 hour difference. To synchronise we used SFC100 in mode 1with correctie = 0 and summer = 0. I've searched through the FAQ but couldn't find this prob. Can anyone offer me any suggestions? Kind regards, Burnett

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi Burnett, well, your proceeding with SFC100 is in my opinion not the "standard way" for time synchronization: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/16533276 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19693801 Normally you choose something like synchronization via Ethernet, with the CP/CPU or PC as time-master and the rest as time-slave.....just check the FAQ for "time synchronization" [;)] nemo

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, you should always keep in mind, that your S7-CPU is running in Wintertime. Only WinCC than adds during Summertime e.g. 1h in your timestamps. So have a try with activating summertime in WinCC. nemo

burnett Posts: 64 Rating: (8)	Aha, so Im sending my summertime to the PLC from the server and the PLC sends the alarm back to the server with a time which is then regarded by WinCC as wintertime so WinCC adds 1 hour to compensate [:D].
