This may be the reason for the error message "No firmware image could be updated on this board": looking at your sudo cat /etc/os-release output, there is no information about the currently installed example image. Which does your IOT2050 currently have installed? I would also recommend that you strictly follow the documentation attached to this thread. BR

Hi apastore,

In your documentation :

If you ran apt upgrade before, the firmware update won’t work, because the
BUILD_ID is removed from this file.
In this case use a fresh Example Image V1.1.1 / V1.2.2

So it's doesn't work... No way to force it to work?

The update tool refers on this version information. Either you use another SD card with a fresh Example Image V1.2.1 or you add the line BUILD_ID="V01.02.01" to /etc/os-release. I definitely recommend the first. Best regards!
