840D and PP72/48 outputs refresh

joijo Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am intalling a 840D communicating with a PP72/48 and i am experiencing a problem as if there was an output refresh. The contact of the external relais energized by outputs does not keep the status and experiment very short but often fall down. I have assured that the output does not falls down by the software, redirecting it to a counter input inside STEP 7 and the counter does not detects oputput changes It is not a hardware problem as I have replaced the PP72/48 with no succes and if I energize the relay by a selector then the contact keeps constant also I have wired one output to an input. The input is used in a counter and input changes are detected but less changes than the ones seen on the relay. The cycle scan on STEP 7 is about 80ms Do you have any idea about the possible cause?

joijo Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	PP7248 works correctly with 840D, I have already installed several of them The problem was solved and it was an incorrect Profibus setting, increasing the Profibus speed the problem was solved
