Good Morning. our plc has stopped communicating with ncu on the operating screen. NC / plc communication failure appears, on the electrical panel our plc has no number and a dot to the right. How do I reestablish this communication? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, Please create new topic instead of posting in old topic. You have not mentioned your controller type, but I presume it to be 840D. From your attached snap, it looks like NCU has detected error in cyclic operation. Please switch OFF & ON power of NCU & check if same status of NCU repeats. If so, check if you have valid NC/PLC start up data on your machine or on external storage devices. After confirmation of valid NC/PLC data, please clear NC/PLC data (refer attached sheet for details) & check NCU should display number 6. If it is so, then you can reload NC/PLC data. If there is no any change in NCU seven segment display, please remove PCMCIA card from its slot & reinsert it & check. If problem persist, probably you need to check 840D NCU box. HTH.
