Hi,

Please help to solve this PLC -PC communication issues .

I have tried the following procedure to upload the program from the Siemens simatic ET 200 SP to the PC

CPU model # 1512 SP – 1 PN

   6ES7512 -1DK00-0AB0 ,

But when i connected the pc to PLC and tried to configure the connection – then it was showing the device type as S7 1500 CPU .

Procedure / Steps used to upload the Program from PLC To PC

1 . Created new project..

2.  Configure device option.

3. add a new device option .

4. Tried to add CPU – Unspecified CPU 1500 .

5 . Also tried the CPU – Unspecified simatic ET 200 SP.

6. Tried Detect configuration of the connected device option.

But during the detect configuration procedure . it was showing an error message of  0 compatible devices of 1 Accessible device found .

       In this way i was not able detect the PLC using TIA Portal V13

Also the PLC was  showing Error Indication ( Red LED flashing ) , When i tried the upload option from the menu. .

Please provide us your valuable Instructions to Upload the program to the PC /  solve this PLC – PC communication issues /

The problem is fixed . 

I was using the basic professional version of TIA portal V 13.

But ,when i updated the software to the latest  version TIA V 13 service pack 1.

that fixed my communication issue .
