rhsb Joined: 6/14/2023 Last visit: 9/15/2025 Posts: 9 Rating: (1)	Hello everyone, as the obvious title suggests I am facing some issues with the built in plc diagnostic tool. I am using an Unified Basic Panel MTP700 as a replacment for previous KTP700 Basic. In the project there are 9 programmed languages but the diagnostic texts are only available in German and US English (the project uses British english instead and so I cannot read the text). Using a KTP700 Basic, I could see the texts in all 9 languages without problem. Why does it not work with a MTP700 as intended? Project Parameters: 1. PLC - S7 1214c as a “Proxy PLC” 2. MTP700 Unified Basic Panel, Image version V20.00.00.00_98.05.00.01 (tried the latest version too, did not work and rolled it back due to other bugs) 3. TIA Portal Step7 Professional V20 Upd3 + WinCC Unified V20 Upd 3 Is there any way to fix this? Thank you! Attachment diagEnglish.jpg (8 Downloads)

For this the used Runtime language has to be loaded also in the PLC. I think its the same as for the Clasic Panels: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109759021 So check which Languages you have loaded in the PLC (notice that a S7-1500 can only load 3 languages at the same time) Bye Murof
