SSA-783481: Denial-of-Service-Sicherheitslücke in LOGO! 8 BM
SUMMARY In LOGO! 8 BM wurde eine Denial-of-Service-Sicherheitslücke festgestellt. Diese Sicherheitslücke könnte es einem Angreifer ermöglichen, ein Gerät zum Absturz zu bringen, wenn ein Benutzer dazu verleitet wird, eine bösartige Projektdatei auf ein betroffenes Gerät zu laden. Die Sicherheitslücke bezieht sich auf die Hardware des Produkts. Siemens hat mit den Produktfamilien LOGO! V8.4 BM und SIPLUS LOGO! V8.4 BM neue Hardwareversionen für mehrere betroffene Geräte veröffentlicht, in denen diese Sicherheitslücke behoben ist. Vulnerability CVE-2020-25236 The control logic (CL) the LOGO! 8 executes could be manipulated in a way that could cause the device executing the CL to improperly handle the manipulation and crash. After successful execution of the attack, the device needs to be manually reset.
