We purchased Modbus modules WZU-485E-MOD for UH50 heat meters. In the manual "A6V12318603_de.pdf" there is mentioned a PC tool which is needed to configure module and a reference for its download from the Landys+Gyr, but their site requires login and their support doesn't respond.

1. Can this software be obtained from Siemens?
2. Is some other way to configure WZU-485E-MOD (v.8)?

Hi, you can configure baudrate with jumpers 1 and 2, maybe this file can help you until you get the configuration tool.

This is a very old version of this module, powered by 12 (8-24) VDC.

Newer version WZU-485E-MOD works with 24 VAC and they cannot be interchanged and configured without the software (the datasheet is attached).

There was strange response from the L&G: they sent me credentials for the access, but it hadn't enough privileges to download. After my complain, they never responded.

However, I tried that later again and it worked?!?! The software (v1.45) is also attached.

P.S. I really don't understand relationship between Siemens & L&G, selling partially hardware and software for its configuration.
