Attribute for OS additional text?

	"Expert" does not necessarily mean Siemens employee. Please cross-check your requirements always with official Siemens documentation. Also "Experts" are pleased about feedback. Oreca Platinum Expert Joined: 3/14/2008 Last visit: 11/3/2024 Posts: 2121 Rating: (949)	Hi Mark, The "OS additional text" is generated when the attribute: "BLK_Jump" is generated for the variable. When the OS is compiled, an OS internal variable is created: "<blockname>.<variablename>#Jump". If the parameter is interconnected (ANY type), a text reference with the entry of the OS tagname of the interconnected block is created.

I thought I have to give an extra attribute for that. But thinking about - it's logically: The 'OS additional text' is designated only for labeling the corresponding button in the faceplate. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. You mentioned already how the block jump works, just to make it complete: For the text for labeling of the button a text reference with the name '<blockname>.<variablename>#OS_Text' is created. Regards....
