Compatibility of licenses of different versions

I mean that we use Simatic Step 7 Professional V19 6ES7822-1AA23-0YA5 and need a license to config HMI TP1200 Comfort panels. Our local Siemens consultant advises us to use WinCC Comfort V20 license.

The Comfort panel unfortunately needs the license as the consultant suggested. Buying the Wincc Comfort V20 is a good idea, even if you are using Wincc Comfort V19. The license will even be functional for versions down to Wincc Comfort V11.
