Connect to IOT impossible after (mis-)configuration of IP adress

JDarius Posts: 215 Rating: (6)	Hey folks, ich tried some code I wrote for some networking with IOT and PLCs. For some tests I changed the IP adress of my IOT and might have misconfigured the adress. Now I can't connect with PuTTY anymore. (Error: Connection timed out.). Connection should be possible, because the LEDs on the ports are blinking. I suspect that the IOT now has an IP adress I don't know. How can I access my IOT again? If possible, I don't want to rebuild everything from scratch... Edit: For future references: Using wireshark to detect the IP adress seems the way to go.

You can have serial debug access via putty to your IOT. Another possibility is to use e.g PRONETA. With this tool you can check your network and it displays all IP addresses available. Best regards!
