Hello!
I have one project where i have to commission a Profibus network trough radio signals. On one side i have one S7-300 PLC and a radio and on the other side i have one S7-400 PLC and one radio. The radio can only transmit or receive maximum 16 bytes at a time. Hardware configuration is ok and i can see everything online. Communication between radios is wireless by antena.
My problem is that from the S7- 300 to S7-400 i have to send 32 bytes. In both PLC i have created a identical database for these signals. I also created an intermediate database that has 16 bytes in S7-300 PLC for sending the messages to the radio.
What i've tried to do is this. I have tried to send first the top 16 bytes from S7-300 DB by putting them with a copy function in the intermediate Db and then send them to the radio by SFC15. Then i take the next 16 bytes and send them in the same manner.
In S7-400 PLC i read in this order, first the top 16 bytes and the the next 16 bytes using also an intermediary DB. The data is arriving in the S7-400 DB but it is flickering, meaning that the DB has one time the correct values and then 0.
How can i save the data in the DB until the next reading (SFC14) is enabled ?
For enabling the reading (S7-400) i use a trigger each 500ms and also for the writting(in S7-300).
Can be that the syncronization between reading and writting is not good?
Someone has a better idea how to make this multiplexing?
