How to connect S7-1516 Hardware with IoT2020

Hello every one,

i want to connect my S7-1516 CPU with IoT2020 and then send the data from PLC to Cloud. Can someone pls tell me how can i establish communication between plc and IoT2020.

i saw some example, which use the node-red. But as plc a simatic software controller s7-1500 is used. I just wanna use Hardware controller.

For physical connection, I recommend a profinet cable connecting the PLC and the IOT. Pay attention to the IP adresses of the PLC and the IOT:.

After connection i want to send the data of PLC  from IOT2000 to the cloud platform.

Unfortunately, the PLC you have is not able to be updated to Firmware 2.0 (as seen here). This is due to the hardware inside your PLC. Newer versions have newer hardware, which is able to use Firmware 2.0.

You could use S7 communication. Here is an example on how to do so.
