Installing HW Updates

Nass89 Member Joined: 1/24/2006 Last visit: 9/30/2024 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have SIMATIC Manager V5.2. I want to update the Hardware Catalog in order to add a new module from SIEMENS. The module part No. doesn't contain in HW Catalog. I did it using Internet connection and now I have an XML file and many update files. Now I'm trying to update another computer using this file, but it happens nothing and the updates don't appear in the window. I tried also using the internet again on both computers, but the message "can not create target file" appeares. I used the command "Option\Install HW Updates.." in Hardware configuration package. I also tried the file "HSP2005_11.exe" from Siemens support center, but it happens nothing. Any Idea?

My problem is that , when I try to update another computer with the downloaded files, the message "Cannot create target file" appeares. I also tried to export the Catalog related to my Module, but after importing the file in other computer, a folder appeares instead of the module and is not insertable in HW Manager. Any Idea?
