Could you tell me about the problems you met in the replacing procedure? We have to connect to OPC of Emerson, I don't know any problems will meet. When you convert the user program. Do you have any errors? What are the errors you met? Thank you for your help! The replacement should be easy in theory but you need a newer STEP 7 to configure and handle V6 CPUs. The big problem to solve is the compatibility issues among different SIMATIC products. Compatibility matrices are great helps. To replace the CPU , you have the option in hw. config by a right click ,but check all properties of the old CPU with the new one. Update in case of mismatch.
