Or in step7 program? //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// I only know : Data are encrypt when password down from setp7 to PLC. But ,i don't know how to encrypt password data. I want to know encrypt arithmetic! Anyone help me! thanks! I am CHINAESE, my English is awful. I'll try my best

miami Platinum Expert Joined: 8/31/2005 Last visit: 10/22/2024 Posts: 2198 Rating: (328)	The password was implemented to save the KnowHow of the programmers. Just ask him/her for the password. And if you have forgot YOUR password, and you want to use the CPU with a other or saved programm you wil have to clear/reset the CPU. But by doing so, you will loose the programm inside the CPU! I don't agree your opinion! Password are checked inSTEP7 editor ,after password data can passed form programmable controller to STEP7 editor while need password check. I track programmable controller and step7 editor Ethernet communications , data is encrypt! Do you know?
