Tupf Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, recently I cannot get any of my TIA installations connected to my PLC's (online verbinden). The error message is on the attachment und the Stack Trace as well. It tells me that a S7DosWrapper.dll is not found. I wanted to reinstall TIA, but it does not let me, because .NET Framework 3.5 is missing. So I tried to install 3.5 not Windows does not let me. Not sure how I got that installed before? Any idea how to solve this? Regards Derk Attachment Problems.pdf (639 Downloads)

Tupf Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I deinstalled TIA, reintalled it. Problem still there: S7DosWrapper.dll not found when I want to connect online to the PLC. I am pretty amazed about this, because a week ago TIA was working just fine. The problem is not related to .NET Framework 3.5 I guess. Any idea? Regards Derk

Tupf Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Run as admin was first thing I tried. No, it did not help The only thing what helped was to reinstall windows 10 and TIA. Took me 3 hours. Greetings

TIA Portal V16 and V17 was crashing when I tried to Go Online or Download to Device and was giving the error you mentioned. After above discussion, I tried turning off .NET features (like you put in the PDF) and restarting, and then finally turning back on. I also updated TIA in the time being. As a result, I don't get the error anymore. My guess is it was the .NET Framework causing the issue, not the non-up-to-date TIA version since I saw the solution before installing the upgrade for TIA V16.

Do you truned off all the .NET? 3.5/4.0 ...? and restarted again ,then there was no problem?

I had exactly the same error, when trying to connect online or search accesible devices TIA Portal crashed. I tried also with TIA 15 and TIA 17 and both versions had the same error. My problem was that i accidentally deleted some system variables: I just added them again and it worked fine. Best regards
