I am trying to access the notes in siemens starter with 6ra80 drive with PC adapter A2

Showing "edit Ethrnet node" error (WLIL:55)

In PG/PC interface PC USB adapter A2 not showing

I try to install USB A2 adapter software.but while setup message is showing Version V8.2 is installed

Please guide.

your adapter is detected, but unsuccesfully. There should be no yellow question mark on the adapter icon. You need one of these softwares installed:

- STEP 7 as of V5.5 SP4

- SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional (TIA Portal) as of V12 SP1

- SIMATIC NET PC software as of V12

I'm not sure if Simatic Step7 OEM installed with Starter standalone (in case you don't have Step7) contains driver for your adapter.

Hello,

if you are connected directly to Sinamics drive, you cannot detect any active network. Drives are slaves, only when there is some network master (PLC) you can detect network.

You can switch your notebook interface to master mode using PG/PC interface is the only master on bus option in adapter properties window.
