Hello , I'm reopening this post because I'm in the same situation. I looked at the answer given but I still don't understand how to read the DB of my S7 1500. I tried to use the ReadDataBlock but without success. I have tried to use the ReadDataBlock but to no avail. Could one of you explain how to do this as even the documentation is pretty poor or I haven't found the right one. thank you Mike ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

From the original topic your topic was split from contains all the answers. Did you use PLCSIM Advanced along with a user-defined coupling in SIMIT to enable DB access on the s7-1500 simulated PLC? Did you contact your regional technical support team and they refused to help? When you visited ( https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109795246/simit-couplings-applicative-expansions-of-the-interface?dti=0&lc=en-WW ) "SIMIT Couplings, applicative expansions of the interface), did you not find the sample TIA Portal application and coupling code at ( https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109794472 ) If not, you have wasted a lot of other peoples - and especially my - time.
