Unified Panel Runtime error on Simulation

Trying to simulate MTP700 with Firmware: 20.0.0.2, but I'm keep getting the error of "unified panel incorrect runtime version installed error" as it shows in the attached screenshot When I downgade the HMI firmware to 20.0.0.0 it will work but the Alarm control is not supported on this version. can you please advice what is causing the issue. Stefan Arcularius Platinum Expert Joined: 1/21/2013 Last visit: 8/29/2025 Posts: 4087 Rating: (633)	Hi Fawzi, In my opinion, the described behaviour indicates that you do not have the WinCC Unified PC Runtime V20 - UPD 2 version installed, which is necessary in order to use the V20.0.0.2 device version. In your description in the screenshot we only can see that you have selected the Device Version V20.0.0.2 but you do not have mentioned that you have installed the Upd2 for the PC RT/simulation If you simulate you use the Unified PC Runtime software. This is not updated with the common TIA Portal Update -> Check if you have installed this one: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109963700 Bye Murof
