Hello Mr. Problem; In order to gve you a valid reply, we would need to know more about your situation. Simply stating that you face the same problem as another member does not give us any worthwhile information on your project requirements. If you are in exactly the same situation as jalooi faced 5 years ago, I would tell you that making a S7-400 or S7-400H controller into a Safety PLC able to design a program up to Safety Integrated Level SIL3 requires an additional Safety package for S7-400 CPUs called S7 F-Systems, and this program also requires an additional license fror s7-CFC programming (if your main programming software is Step 7 v5.6)..This will allow you to use F-IO from the S7-300 family (S7-326 modules) for example to inerface your safety signals to the F-CPU. - S7 F-Systems v6.4: 6ES7833-1CC46-0YA5 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109802497 In order to operate SIMATIC S7 F Systems V6.4, the following software packages must be installed: Automation License Manager V6.0 SP5 Upd1 or higher PCS 7 V9.0 SP3 or higher or STEP 7 V5.6 SP2 or higher and CFC V9.0 SP4 or higher - SIMATIC Industrial software SIMATIC S7 F/FH Systems – Configuring and Programming V6.4 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109802562 Start by looking into the manual above to get an idea of what is required when implementing Safety F-Systems, Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
