I've installed the example image from this link

because I need to use gpio nodes for 5DI-2DO-2AO module but... this works really bad. It works really slow and node-red is not propertly installed (or I don't like the way in that's done). Commands like node-red-restart doesn't work. Node red is installed in different directories... I don't like it.

Does anybody know where can I find the nodes to install it in my previous image that works really fine?

Node-red itself is slow. Deploy time is much more high.This is not a feeling, I've tested it.

Sorry, but I don't know exactly what "previous image" is, because I didn't build it. Siemens Spain support sent it to me because I tested 2050 before you launch this one.

I think the best way to install node-red is this

You can find the recipe for the IOT2050 GPIO nodes at https://github.com/siemens/meta-iot2050/tree/master/recipes-app/node-red-gpio.

I'd still like to understand what slowness you are seeing as I do not observe this here. Can you describe a test case, e.g. the installation of a certain node, that is particularly slow and could be reproduced by us? Also provide some number for how long that test takes with the released image on your device.

BTW, any concrete suggestions how to improve things, also the node-red pre-installation, are welcome. You could also open an issue at https://github.com/siemens/meta-iot2050/issues.

I understand that I've to download a file from git and then install it, but I don't find this file (if it is correct).

About the slowness, I'm going to do few test and post the results (if I can install gpio nodes...)

If you are not yet familiar with node-red, Linux, and the image building, I would recommend using the official image and help us analyzing what is not working there for you.

If you feel brave to create your own image, you may grab /usr/lib/node_modules/node-red/node_modules/node-red-node-intel-gpio from the official image and install that node-red-node-intel-gpio folder under your own node-red.
