Hello,

I would like to subscribe to a variable with the flow creator and not only set the OPC UA Publishing Interval (from my understanding is this the interval option in the OPC UA Client node), but also set the sampling interval of the monitored Item to an appropriate number.

I have tried doing this using a function node and setting the following values:

msg.action = "subscribe";
msg.payload = "100"; // 100 ms sampling interval
msg.interval = "100"; // 100 ms sampling interval
msg.queueSize = "10"; // set internal subscription queue on S7 - 1500 to 10
return msg;

I have tested this on a boolean value which changes with a frequency of 2Hz in my S7 program. The (publishing) interval in the NodeRed / Flow Creator is set to 1000ms and the minimal values concerning OPC UA in my S7 configuration are 100ms minimal sampling interval / 1000 ms minimal publishing interval.

From my understanding I should now get a message every second with true and false. But what I get is a flow of messages, all of them just true (no false) and like 10 or so per second.

Does anyone have a clue how to solve this or what might be the cause of this? Is this the right way to specify the sampling interval? The documentation on the NodeRed - OPC UA - Node doesnt really go into any detail...
