Save Energy:Belt scale( BW500)+Inverter

When load on conveyor increases, a controller unit mustincrease thespeed of conveyor(Motor drive conveyor use variable speed controller) and else decrease the speed of conveyor. I have read user manual of BW500, but I don't understand, in case ofsetting PID in Load Control. I'm not sure thatBW500 can satisfyabove requirement. Please, replyme as soon as possible. In someone frequency converters the PID control is integrated on the own software of the converter. If you need more detail The forum can help you, tell something more about your problem. SonicRanger Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	Hello mr. Hong, Is the conveyor belt already equipped with a belt scale? Or do you want to measure the load on the belt in another way? Sometimes an ultrasonic level measurement is used above the belt to measure the thickness of the productlayer on the belt. The BW500 Belt scale integrator has PID functions on board, and with the auxiliary mA I/O board, you can use it as a controller. But primarily, it is a control unit for belt scales. So if you have a belt scale (brand-independent), you can connect it 95% sure to the BW500 and configure your control functions. If you have no belt scale, first think how you want to measure the material on the belt. Ifyou only want to know the thickness of the layer, I recommend a Sitrans Probe LU 2-wire ultrasonic level transmitter, or a Multiranger system (separate sensor and electronics). If you need an accuratemeasurement, then theSiemens Milltronics MSI belt scale + BW500 integrator will bea good choice. Moderators, can you please move this topic to "sensors"?
