Can't use CTRL_PTO (6ES7 214-1AE30-0XB0)

Anhui14 Posts: 24 Rating: (0)	Hi, Why with S7-1200 CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC 6ES7 214-1AE30-0XB0 I can not use the CTRL_PTO ? Is there any solution for that ? Thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from S7-1200 PTO.

You need to upgrade your CPU to get the instruction. Make sure you have firmware V2.2 loaded onto the PLC for the best results. Alternative 1: Use CTRL_PWM for the case where you have a fixed frequency. Alternative 2: Use the motion control. Configure a technology object for motion control. Set the acceleration and deceleration times as steep as you can set it. Use MC_Power and MC_MoveJog to control the pulsing frequency of the output. Alternative 3: Build a code based PTO. use only as a last resort where the pulse frequency is low and repeatability is not important.
