I want to reach PLC and HMI from my terminal PC. I can reach to PLC but I cannot make a connection between terminal PC and HMI.

PLC IP adress1 x.x.30.1
PLC IP adress2 x.x.102.1 (use router on)

HMI IP adress x.x.30.2

After change to my PC network settings to “x.x.102” I can connect to PLC but not HMI.

After change to my PC network settings to “x.x.30” I cannot connect any device.

Am I missing something?

Can I make a connection between these devices without change the IP adress of PLC and HMI?

What I am guessing is that you have a PLC that has more than 1 port. The PC is connected to port X2, while the HMI is connected to X1. You wish to route the PLC port X2 through to PLC port X1.

There are some routing rules that applies - but that is all I know. Perhaps it is that the same subnet needs to apply -- you should mentioned what the subnet mask is set to. That information should be available on this support site.

I recommend that you tell the forum which PLC you are using (name, part number and firmware version ) and show a screen capture of what you have set to establish the routing. The PLC used may influence the routing rules.

I can go online on PLC but not HMI. 

But I can ping to HMI adress.

I still do not have direct answers but maybe some research hints may help. Using the search words "routing S7-1500" delivers some interesting results. Best to try them yourself and see what makes sense -- if no further response is received here.

Possible helpful candidates..

On the forum pages is S7-1500 Routing (PC -> CPU -> HMI connection). One of the important suggestions from Mr ChristophD was: "try to change the panel setting [from] Ethernet to Profinet".

Then the knowledgebase article: Which S7-1500 modules support the "Routing over S7 connections" function? A link is given to documentation (59192925) that handles routing in detail.
