Dear all. Have you been able to work with S71500 CPU and old Im151 DP slave? I'm facing the same issue. No chance to go online with module even if new HW configuration in TIA portalmmeets the field using old GSD. I'm just not able to pack IO addresses for 4Di - 4Do modules. With new CPU I can see old Profibus Leuze barcode reader, all the 2 backoff profibus remote station, but none of the 12 et200S profibus remote stations that looks as unreachable. Existing controller is a S7414 CPU New controller CPU1515 3PN with profibus CM1542 A possible plan B is to use S7400 as profibus master and create a connection between the 2 CPU to share IOs, but honestly I'd only use this way as last chance. Any other ideas? Thanks for supporting. Grazie a tutti per il prezioso aiuto. L. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, at first: It should work. a) pack addresses If the GSD was used, the button "pack adresses" can not be used, but you can use the modules marked with an "*" star from the hw-config. It's described here for the simatic manager, but this does also work with TIA. How can you group together the address area of the ET 200S (pack addresses)?b) unreachable If you mean the "unreachable" mark in devices & netwok tab, this only means the CPU itself can not reach the et200s in the first place. So at first i would recommend to scan the profibus network for accessible nodes to check if the Et200s stations can be found at all. Because if the et200s cannot be found via accessible nodes, the CPU cannot of course establish a connection either. If the ET200S stations can be found via accessible nodes, please check if the were found with ther correct slave addresses which were also configured in the hw config. regards sancruz
