These are S7 communication blocks using server/client connections, that need only to be configured on one of the partners (the client). To setup communictaions between a WinCC Advanced v13 application and your Step 7 v5,4, you could use a Device Proxy as explained in the following Example application: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/73502293/combined-configuration-with-wincc-(tia-portal)-and-step-7-v5-x-?dti=0&lc=en-FR Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
