Alarms refresh MP377 / 319FCPU AlarmD

Sims Advanced Member Joined: 5/23/2008 Last visit: 9/12/2024 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi, Ihave a MP377 HMI connected to a 319F CPU. I have created an alarm block using AlarmD SFC107. I have since added new alarms but they will not show up in the HMI when triggered. The other existing alarms in the alarm block work as normal. The steps Ihave takenare, 1. Added a new EV_ID in the IN block interface. Data Type is DWord. Attributes are S7_a_type/alarm_s and S7_server/alarm_archiv. 2. Added SFC107 function in the block with newly created EV_ID. 3. Defined the trigger bits. 4. Saved Block. 5. Re-created instance data block for Alarm Block. 6. Downloaded new Alarm Block and Instance Data Block to PLC. 7. Synchronised HMI project with new S7 project. Compiled new HMI porject. 8. Downloaded new HMI project to MP377. 9. Triggered the new alarm. 10. Alarm dows not show in AlarmView. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The problem I have is the addition of new alarms to the alarm block. The new CPU orientated message number is generated by the block when creating the instance Data Block. Should it be as simple as re-compiling the HMI project and downloading to the MP377? I'm not sure when or how the new Message Configuration is applied to the HMI and or PLC CPU.
