I would like to open a website on the HMI.

First I tested this with WinCC flexible with MP 277 Touch (OS: Win CE5). I added a button with the event "OpenInternetExplorer". The Internet Explorer opens and everything works except of opening PDF documents inline. It seems that this is not supported. PDFs have to be downloaded and opened locally. Another issue is the possibility to get access via the Internet Explorer to the OS settings.

This is not acceptable.

Now I tested this with TIA V14 and a TP700 Comfort (Win CE6).  In case I implement it the same way inline browser view works. But the issue is still the access to the OS settings.

Alternatively, I used the new Tools -> Controls -> HTML-Browser. The benefit is the complete embedding into the RT-view. It works great but it seems that this browser does not support inline PDF view...

Am I right with my recognitions? Do you have any other ideas how to implement this?

with the browser control you can't show a pdf-file.

You have to use the pdf control. You can only use the system function ("zoom",  ... and so) in combination with the pdf control.

If you install SP1 for V14 you can use the new pdf-control which has been the system function integrated.
