Bug in KTP600 ?

Flomaster Posts: 65 Rating: (2)	Hi all! I got a problem with KTP600 Basic Panel. I created a PLC tag "myAlarmMask" of type WORD in my project. The variable will be stored alarm maskto display on HMI. So each bit is a flag of the alarm. (If the bit = 0, no alarm. If bit = 1, is alarm). Only 6 bits will be used. I added graphics list "myGraphicList" in the HMI with type of "Bit (0,1)". If value = 0, nothing displays. And if value = 1, "STOP" graphics displays. I created new screen in HMI and added six fields of type "Graphics I/O field". For each field I set: - Mode to "Output" - Tag to "myAlarmMask" - Graphics List to "myGraphicList" - Bit value (from 0 to 5). After that, I downloaded a program to the PLC and started HMIsimulation on the PC. Simulating alarms on the PLC, I made sure that everything is working correctly. If bit =0, Graphics IO field is empty. If bit =1, "STOP" graphics displays in Graphics IO field. Then I downloaded software to HMI KTP600 and repeat testing again. And I was surprised! At real HMI all my alarm bits looks inverted!!! If bit = 0, "STOP" graphics displays in Graphics IO field. If bit =1, Graphics IO field is empty. I changed "Graphics I/O field" to "Simbolic I/O field" and graphics list to text list of type Bit(0,1). In this case everything is working correctly, in HMI simulation mode and real HMI KPT600 both. So my question: Is it KTP600 feature or a bug???

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello, You do an OSUpdate with Reset to factorysettings. How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? Then you use the function "Rebuild all" and transfer your project to the Basic Panel. Tweety

Flomaster Posts: 65 Rating: (2)	This feature is repeated at several identically HMI KTP600 Basic Panels. All panels was new and clean (without any software downloaded before). "Rebuild all" didn't take any effect.
