Are you able to ping the address of the new or old HMI?  Are they the same IP address?  Are all the tags the HMI interacts with using absolute or symbolic addressing?  For example, are there any DBs configured as the default of "Optimized" and worked properly on the old HMI?

If so, you also need to assign the profinet name to the new HMI to be identical to the original HMI.

Have you contacted the original developer for a copy of the HMI project on a memory card (or USB drive) so it could be loaded to the new HMI (and perhaps included in the project)?

On one of the station we have a S7-1200 plc and ktp 400 basic HMI.

HMI has suffered some damage apparently from sun so the display can barely be seen and the touch is not functional (had to use mouse). However I changed the HMI with the spare one I have (both 6AV2 123-2DB03-0AX0). I copied program via usb function from old to new HMI, after a bit of troubles to factory reboot new HMI I managed to successfully transferred the program back to new HMI.

But when I start the HMI the screens work but the values are all ####.

I also tried to upload program from old HMI to pc via ProSave, but had some problems so I tried changing some settings on HMI. No luck…

I later reverse all my settings on old HMI back to what they were (pictured everything before backing it up). And plug it back to 1200 but despite the same settings as before now even the old HMI stopped showing values.

Is there any way to sync values or plc to HMI? Did try to set up connection with plc trough HMI Service and commissioning -> Assign plc address and edit connection where I can automatically search for plc, says that operation was successful but the values are still not there.
