Is it possible to connect a Comfort Panel via Ethernet (or wifi maybe with a device) to a PC/Notebook and control it?

The customer asks this because the panel is "on site", but he would like to command the plant also in his control room.

Yes Possible.I did it on my last project.

You can comfort panel either from Android or computer via Sm@rt client application.If a wifi router connect to the Ethernet network, it can connect to laptop via Wifi.

You need to install sm@art client application on your PC or download from Playstore or .apk from google.You must enable sm@art server option in HMI settings.

An alternative way is to setup the comfort panel as an OPC UA server and install wincc runtime on the target computer and set it as the client.  See link below for documentation

When I connect via Smartserver my external device, there is some instruction to know this?

I want to monitor when someone is connected via remote to the HMI to inibhit some functions

I just found the "ControlSmartServer" function that can STOP/START the Sm@rtserver when a page is loaded... that is the workaround I use for now, but would be better to let the user access these pages but not let him change or touch anything. Like the "Control Enable" function.

You mean you want to know by seeing HMI as someone connected HMI by smart server.

Yes .No command hand simbol come on HMI if someone connect it from remote.Only one person can operate HMI at a time.
