Conveyor Chute Anti-Clogging System.

Engr Kashif Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I am working on a Jetty equipped ith two Ship Unloaders and a comprehensive conveyor network. We have an Siemens Chute Anti-clogging system soncisting of three part namel FTC 281 (Level controller), 21.265 (Probe), and EC 31 (Electronic for probe). However spare parts of the said system are no longer avialable. Any one can assist me in finding partwise replacements or a complete new system that may be comissioned with some alterations???

Engr Kashif Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	well the probe hangs in the mid of the chute at a particular height. the associated circuitry is connected to the probe. When the chute gets choked the probe gets earthed via the raw material going through the chiute. This earthing is detected by a circuitry which trips an earth fault relay and the contacts get switched indicated choking of the chute.

Toppie Posts: 74 Rating: (3)	Hello Engr Kashif The part numbes and names you have provided are not familiar to me and I've been in this business with Siemens for over 25 years. What you describe uses either conductance or most likely capacitance. It's possible something like a CLS300 could be used but I don't know if that can be integrated into the existing system because I don't knwo the system. Another option would be a non contact system using (for example) the ULS200.
