Hi,

I need to copy one file (recipe) from a HMI (TP1900 Conform) to a PC via Ethernet.

I created a sript that do that when a variable change (trigger):

 The problem is that it take around 4/5 min to copy a file of around 300 KB.

The HMI execute just this script and has about 1200 variables. It has 9 PLC connections in other network (we use other port for that).

Do you know if it is normal to take this time? How could we improve its performance?

Hello Gonzalo,

in my opinion it's not normal for copying a file to the network. Add some lines to your script triggering a system alarm. That way you can find which operation does need that much time.

ShowSystemAlarm "MyScript x"

Where x is e.g. a number to identify the position in the script.

Thank you Mr. Flink, I will try that, my problem is that i am far away from this HMI, so i have just remote access to a PC where i can download software. Anyway, i will try to test that with someone there.

On the other hand, I tested the script in other HMI (less powerfull) and it copies the file in some seconds, so i think that the problem is not the script.

Any idea to know the performance of a HMI? CPU, memory...

The network looks well.

Any other idea?

It´s looks like the sd card was damaged and the recipe was created very slow. We replaced it and now the file is created and copied in some seconds (2/3 s).
