Dear experts, I am also faced the same problem. Not only the retentive range, none of the CPU property will upload while doing upload operation. ( retentive property, cpu clock, I/O modules will upload with default address(not with configured address) etc.) After that I have send support request. Then i got the reply like this. During upload STEP 7 uploads the hardware configuration from the CPU, including any modules (SM, SB, or CM). Please refer the same in the section 11.14 of manual :-http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/39710145 But still the problem is not rectified. One more thing, why should we copy paste the blocks?? Just click on newly created project's PROGRAM BLOCK option, then we can see the upload shortcut will be enabled. so that we can directly upload the blocks. (I think with tia v 10.5 that option is not available) Regards
