Is diagnostic communication between LOGO8 and S7-1200 possible?

If i disconnecting UTP cable S7-1200 not detecting error in block get or put. Memmory not be actualize to zero but stay in this memory place latest number read from logo. Logo detecting only UTP cable disconnecting when is connet to swith not be detecting error in connection. FrantaM ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Logo 0BA8 to S7-1200 Comms Fault.

Whether you have the two devices directly connected or via a switch / router. Depending on that, an error is detected or not. For safety's sake, I swap between the devices a lifetime bit.
