Hello Everyone

I'm newbie with LOGO siemens. I have a logo 8.

I'm trying to switch a digital output using a digital network and smartphone android.

So far, in the logo software, i have connected my network input and assigned an adress V0.0 ( first adress available). Then, i have connected some logics to that function block.

I have understood that i should declare this variable in the VM mapping table in logo soft but i can't see my variable in the list suggested in the logo soft confort software. (only parameters appears)

I guess, once i have assigned my variable V0.0, it will be available in the 'target TAG' in the App?

Please give me a trick to allow me to assign my variable in the VM mapping and please confirm then it will be possible to assign this variable to a control button in the app.

Thank you for your answer. 

I just want to control a digital output of my LOGO using a control button in myu LOGO app on my phone. To do this, the manual says a digital network shall be used(function block network input- NI)

See picture 1 , the function block in logo soft confort where i have created V1.0 

See picture 2, the VM mapping tool, i can't find my variable V1.0 but i'm not even sure if i have to do something in VM mapping tool.

See picture 3 and 4, the control button configuration in logo app on my phone. I guess there's a link between target table and VM mapping table but it's not clear.

I hope it's help to understand what i need.

Could you explain what is expected in the "target tag" field in the LOGO app?It seems to be a list generated somewhere but in my case, it's empty.

In the manual, there's no information at all about this.

To close this topic, i finally get the solution on a youtube video. 

The variables to be used in ''target tag'' in the app need to be declared in the logo app first .

To do that, you just have to open "variables'' under LOGO and add your variables one by one.

For me, it was V0.1 format bit for the ON command. Then , it depends on your logic. 

Anyway, thanks for your help to indicate me there's nothing to do in the VM mapping.

I add an attachement to show the windows in the app. Hope this will help somebody else.
