Hi JenLee, if you want to connect more than one load cell to a Siwarex module you need a junction box. In this junction box the load cells will be connected in parallel. If you have 4 wire load cells you have to do a bridge between the exitation voltage and the sense lines and go with a 6 wire cable from the Siwarex to the junction box, in order to compensate this cable. In the manual chapter 4.5.5. you find more information's. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/17970155 The appropriate junction boxes you find an the Siwarex hompage: http://www.siemens.com/siwarex Regards ABenno |

Hi JenLee, there is no difference in configuring the Siwarex FTA with one or with several load cells. Only if you want to do the theoretical calibration you have to calculate withall load cells. See the basic configuration and calibration here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/37734709 Regards ABenno |
