Need values to go one after another to the same output and change every 15 minutes - is there a block for it?

Thanks to your help I have succefully send some values (only 6 to test) to the LOGO! device using HMI recipe capability and I can also easly modify them using web server. The problem is I'm not sure if that's what I was looking for. Firstly, in the LOGO program I'm using six Network analog inputs (and there are only 32 of them overall, so not enougth even if I reduce those 96 values to 48) and six analog outputs. And the other problem is that I think I need those values to go one after another to the same output and change every 15 minutes. Is there some block that allows that? I've got only one AQ2 AM module and someone told by to use 4-20 current loop and PWM to connect it to the power regulator. Or is LOGO! wrong device for my project? If you want to switch analog values to an analog output at fixed intervals, you can use the "Analog MUX" block. Over 2 control inputs you can switch up to 4 different values on the output of the block. If you want to switch more than 4 values to an analog output, you will have to cascade several analog muxes.

Try to define with more details, how many digital and analog inputs and outputs do you need and what is to do with so many analog values. It seems to be, that you don't use all values at the same time. Therefore you must have a plan, when and what is to do with the values. Maybe an example program with a few values will be helpful as base. Regards, Scorp

I just need to store those constant 96 values somehow (could be reduce to 48) so LOGO knows what they are and send them to a single analog output one at the time, every 15 minutes (at first the output is reading value A, after 15 min it it reading value B and so on). Sorry for so few details, the instructions I was given were unfortunately also very vague.

Scorp Platinum Member Joined: 2/22/2008 Last visit: 8/6/2024 Posts: 2698 Rating: (208)	I have not try it up to now, but if you only need 1 parameter at a time, then use a counter in the Logo controller to get an index for the required value. You can read the counter value in a HMI for index addressing inside the HMI. The data content of the index address serves as analog value to only 1 VW address. Therefore you need no memory space in the Logo controller. You only need the logic for the counter inside the Logo controller. Count up after each step and reset the counter after the last step. Search in the HMI for index addressing or for recipes selectable by a counter value. Regards, Scorp
