Foam Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm pretty new to all of this, but im setting myself up with an OBA7 using LogoSoft V7 When i try to connect to my OBA7 Through Tools>Options>Interface the Device does not show up on the List. I'm Running Windows 7 Home, Through the "Network and Sharing Centre" the Device is Shown as "Unidentified Network" and "Public" As a guess it seems that it is communicating somewhat as the device light "Rx / Tx" is flashing and "Link" light is solid. Any help would be much appreciated thanks! :) Update: I have Tried Manually Entering the IP Address - Subnet Mask and Gateway Address that is displayed on the Logo unit. After Trying to connect again it displays "Can not access IP Address *...** "

ykakoyannos Posts: 5 Rating: (2)	You must set a static IP at your PC. Local area connections>properties>Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)>Use the following IP address and set a similar to the logo! IP. e.g. LOGO! IP: 192.168.010.002 PC IP: 192.168.010.003 fill the subnet mask as 255.255.255.0 after all these you must have no problem with the communication.

AustinFrank Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	I had the same problem. I tried to put my laptop IP into the configuration. It did not work. I am on a corporate computer running Windows 7. Is ther a technical refernece to what IP to put where. I cannot change my IP. I have also tried to Ping the LOGO IP. No luck.

Foam Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Have you been to > Control Panel> Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Centre > Change Adapter Settings (On side) Local Area Connection (Or connection the Logo! is using) , Right Click Properties, Left Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Click Use following IP Address: Insert an IP Address Like he said Above 192.168.010.003 or whatever, Accept it........... On your Logo! screen scroll down to Network > IP Address Change to similar number 192.168.010.004. Then test on Logosoft Comfort Through, Tools > Options > Interface > on Ethernet Tab "Add" and Insert your Logo! IP Address > Press Ok > Detect and should say "Yes" Thats Exactly what i did, if you can't do any of that then im unsure, ask your company for access?

AustinFrank Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Thanks! I was able to get it to connect. I am still getting a Download PC --> LOGO! failed when i try to download. I someow do not think this is in a users manual anywhere. I'm In the subnet mask was off.

mika09 Posts: 40 Rating: (1)	Hello AustinFrank, often when the download from PC to LOGO! failes, the reason is that you have a block without outpout connection in your programm!! After your download failes you can search the info window at the bottom where a message text occurs if this is the reason for tha failure or something else.
