Dear i.anirbandey Opening Pop-up Window without using picture window in the current Graphics and using System Generated picture Windows requires a good knowledge of the Scripting knowledge. WinCC provides C and VB Scripts facility to the Users , But System Generated scripts are in C Scripts. If you are using WinCC, installed through PCS7, you can use Faceplate Designer to create user defined Faceplates for Structured Tags and run it through Picture Selection via measurement Values available in the Dynamic Dialog Window in the Grapics Designer. Or if you are having normal WinCC then you have to struggle hard to understand the Scripts and use it in your Project. Also you can create the WinCC Project in the PCS7 WinCC and use it in Normal WinCC ate the Site. The Scripts will run there also. |

Dear i.anirbandey, I think you asked to have multiple popups windows without the need of creating the same amount of picture windows in your start.pdl. The answer above seems to have for example 9 picture windows in the start screen to have 9 possible popups. I don't think it's really possible, if I understand your question right. Having lots of picture windows in your start screen is, imo, very common use. If possible, you can make it easier to design and edit if you put them in different layers for example. Also using smaller picture windows and let them adjust to picture size in runtime can help. |

Hey SteBo You understood right. My need is to open popup window without using picture window control. There must be some way to do it. Ok !! I don't want to flood my pages with lots of popup window opened, but atleast if there is some way, we can about it. I mean, this is not in the TOP PRIORITY in my project. But it would be a good learning though. Thanks.

Is it not an good option to put the picture windows in another layer? So you can hide the layer when working in graphics designer? |
