Hello, I have an IPC427D PN/IE 6AG4 140-6EA27-0KA0 and I installed the software controller CPU1507S 6ES7 672-7AC00-0YA0. Installation goes successfully without any error. I transfered the license key and can see it is "use" in the License manager. I have STEP7 Professional V13 SP1 update 5 and WinCC Comfort/Advanced V13 SP1 update 5. (which is the current last version) I am able to power on and off software PLC on the IPC, but I am not able to download into it. I get the error "Incompatible device detected at address 192.16.0.55". I put the right IPC in the project and the right PLC in the slot no2, I refered to the real part number to select the right one in the catalog. For the IPC, I used "IPC427D PN/IE" 6AG4140-XXXXX-XXXX that include: 6AG4140-0xxxx-xxxx 6AG4140-3xxxx-xxxx 6AG4140-6xxxx-xxxx ( This is mine) For the software controller I put in the "Device view", I used "CPU 1507S" 6ES7 672-7AC00-0YA0 V1.8. When I go in the panel of the software controller, in the information menu, I can see the exact same part number V1.8. I don't see any firmware update for the CPU 1507S. As the manual tell in page 42, I assign the X2 IE/PN interface for the "Software PLC_1" use in the properties of the port in TIA Portal project, in the "Interface assignment" tab. When I go in the properties of the port X1 in "Interface assignment" tab, I don't have "Software PLC_1" in the choice. So, I suppose I must use the X2 port absolutly. I can now see the port is connect to the CPU1507S in the Device view. When I look "Online access", I can see "IPC427" which is the IPC name itself and it is the same thing for both port. I was expecting to see the PLC name, not the IPC name. When I do the same thing with WinAC RTX V4.6, I can see the PLC name. In WinAC 4.6, if I connect to the port that is not the "PLC" port, I see the IPC name. So, I suspect I miss something about connecting the PLC to the X2 port in the IPC itself. In the control panel of the IPC, in "Communication settings" or "PG/PC interface" I set the S7 Online to my X2 port ".TCPIP". I tried "TCPIP.AUTO", but both of them change nothing when I try to download. I tried to use "PC station" instead of IPC427D in my project, but you don't have the software controller in the catalog. When you go in the properties of the IPC427D, you can see it's a PC Station V2.0 and software controller seems to need this to works. I can't add a PC Station V2.0 in my project. I only have V1.0... I opened a support request, but even them doesn't have work with it since it is really new. I will let you know if they find a solution. (They always did it in the past) If someone have an idea while I get a suggestion from the support request, do not hesitate. Best regards, Hugo Dufour |

New question published by IggY.b4f is split to a separate thread with the subject After restarting PLC has no configuration and lost network driver for X2 port . Best regards |
