Hi,

I am having a similar problem where I can upload the program over ethernet, but when I try to do it with a microSD card, the LOGO! says the card is empty.

It is a new, 32 GB card, formatted to be FAT32. I have followed the User Manual section 9. Saved the program using the Save As > .bin function in LSC. The LOGO_U_P.bin file is the only one on the card.

Is there some particular formatting other than default for the SD card?

Which operating system was used to format the SD card?

Has your LOGO! a display?
If so, have you looked at the SD card diagnostics?
Recognizes the LOGO! the SD card at all?

Which LOGO! did you exactly? Please write the exact order number.

 Used Windows 10 Pro to format the card.

LOGO! is 6ED1052-1HB08-0BA1 with a display. The diagnostics say the card is "OK". It behaves like it is downloading properly, but it says the program is empty when I go to Start.

When I open the .bin directly from the SD card into LSC, it shows the expected FBD.

Try this:

Delete the file on the SD card.

Then put the empty, formatted SD card in the LOGO!. Transfer the program to the LOGO! and set by the transfer window the checkmark by "Copy to SD card".

After that delete the program in the LOGO!, switch the power supply off and then on again.
Then can you see if the LOGO! load the program from SD card.

 It looks as though, if the LOGO saves the program to the card, it can be read by LOGO and PC afterwards. 

If the LSC saves to the card while it's in the LOGO (in your suggestion) it works.  

But if the PC saves to the card, the LOGO sees it as an empty program. So I can't save the .bin to the card from the PC and load from SD.

Yes, but that's not a LOGO or LSC problem. This is a Windows problem.

Probably Windows 10/11 FAT32 formatting is not 100% correct.
When I format my SD cards using Windows 7 I have no problems.

Thank you for your help, I was able to get it working by formatting the card using cmd as admin:

format FS:FAT32 E:

According to the System Manual (06/2023) Section 10, I was expecting to be able to use exFAT file system formatting on the card, and the Product Details for this LOGO! says that it uses a "standard microSD card". FAT32 formatted seems quite out of standard by now.

 At the current LOGO! 8.4 both FAT32 and exFAT formatting are allowed. 

 LOGO Softcomfort can read to and from the exFAT formatted card, but after formatting to exFAT using Command Prompt (which worked for FAT32 formatting), the LOGO! system wouldn't even see it as a valid SD card. That was the original issue.
