Hello Andy; The DataEagle radio transmitters présent yhemselves as "transparent Profibus" link. So your project could very well work, in theory. Your DataEagles requirements will need to be respected, for example the maximum speed they will work at (the Profibus ring must be brought down to that transmission rate) and the number of slaves they allow in the Profibus network.
