One of my tags is a control load system for a scale. The parameter in the DCS is stock on Simulation mode and a yellow hand. The PV value is grey and doesn't have a display. I check the STEP 7 interconnecting box CFC blocks and the tag have a QBAD=1 The service rack looks ok from different test performed and the cable board is Ok. The block are laced to other Boxes but I am not able to identify the simulation mode product of this QBAD=1 signal (bad process output). It's any way to change this QBAD? It is bad process signal? Please advice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ AttachmentSiemens error .pdf (176 Downloads) |

Hi rsandrea, Are you generating module drivers? If not, you may have not set the Mode parameter correctly. The mode should be set specific for the type of input you are using. For instance, a 4-20mA signal should have mode 16#80000203. When module drivers are generated, then this Mode parameter is automatically interconnected along with some other parameters. You can check the help file in CFC of the channel driver you are using to see which mode you need for which type of input. |
