Hello MR.DK; from the following manual from DELTA (if this is not the correct servo driver model, please locate the user manual for it and send us the correct link), your ASDA controller only supports Modbus RTU (serial). Using a S7-1200, you must make the CPU a Modbuis RTU master; you will need a serial communication module, there are models for RS 232 (only one Modbus slave on the network) and RS 422/485 (for multiple slaves):The selection will depend on the servo drive configuration: 6ES7241-1AH32-0XB0 Communication Module cm 1241, RS232 6ES7241-1CH32-0XB0 Communication Module cm 1241, RS422/485 There are Modbus RTU instructions available for the programmer in Step 7 v1x, namely Modbus_Com_Load and Morbus_Master. Look them up in the online help and in various thread and FAQs of this forum. For example: How do you establish a MODBUS-RTU communication with STEP 7 (TIA Portal) for the SIMATIC S7-1200? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/47756141 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
