Hello everyone

I've tried to communicate with S7-317CPU with IM153-4 through WLAN, W788-1RR AP and

W738-1 M12 Client. W788-1FC00 AP also same result.

But communication error happened as attached 'Communication error view WLAN.png'.

It shown module information in HW-config.

Error statements say ' Wrong partner' each other.

Ping test is ok until IM153-4.

In 'Edit Ethernet node' also IM153-4 well browsed.

Is there any mistake in selection of the components or PROFINET parameter?

Very important is that PNIO is has a MAC based communication channel.
Therefore a PING is not the only thing that is needed.
You have to activate L2T (Layer 2 Tunneling) in the client module, so that transparent MAC communication becomes possible.

Another important point is to set the IO update time to a realistic value (32 msec or above depending on the number of Clients connected to the AP).

And of course you must set the Profinet IO name to the IO devices like you always would do (wired or wireless).
